The first days of July have passed with no homicides in Juarez, according
to El Diario. As reported yesterday and also in this article, there were
10 days in June with no murders reported: June 1, 6 , 7, 12, 14, 16, 17,
21, 24 and 30
In May there were 5 days with no homicides: May 7, 13, 21, 22 and 29.
It sounds nice be we all know that the gangs are getting much better at what they do and in a week or two they will find 80 mutilated bodies in a well or a abandoned mine outside of town.
